The terms that govern your use of the Future African Scientist Foundation website.

About FASF

The Future African Scientist Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization established in the United States (EIN: 39-2737601), operating on a “friends-of” model to raise tax-deductible funding in support of Future African Scientist (FAS), an initiative that identifies, trains, and connects Africa’s most talented early-career scientists.

Using This Website

You may browse this Site and use its forms for their intended purpose: learning about our work, reaching out to our team, or making a donation. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of these Terms
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its forms, or the systems behind them
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site

Donations

Donations made through this Site are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor, and are subject to Stripe’s own terms. Charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; please consult your tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless explicitly stated at the time of giving.

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, for example a duplicate or incorrect-amount transaction, contact us at support@futureafricanscientistfoundation.org and we will review the request in good faith.

Intellectual Property

The text, graphics, logos, and other content on this Site are owned by FASF or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share pages of this Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
