Dr. Amina Diallo

Board Chair
Professor of Immunology, University of Ghana

Professional Background

Dr. Amina Diallo has over 20 years of experience in immunology research and capacity building across Africa. As the former director of the West African Immunology Network, she established collaborative research programs across 12 African countries. Her work focuses on training the next generation of African scientists while conducting groundbreaking research on infectious diseases prevalent in the region.

Role at FASF

As Board Chair, Dr. Diallo provides strategic direction for FASF's programs and initiatives. She oversees the development of our scientific training programs and ensures alignment with Africa's most pressing research needs. Her leadership has been instrumental in establishing partnerships with leading African research institutions.
